"avro"
Surface Grinders are backed
by four decades of intensive
research and development.
Engineered with utmost precision.
"avro" Surface Grinders
are built with highest accuracy
for a long and trouble-free
service under the most stringent
shop floor requirements. Your
workshop will turn out better
work, more profitability with
any one of these "avro"
Surface Grinding Machines.
Conform to the international
standards of accuracy as prescribed
by Dr. Schlezenger and this
accuracy endures over the
years.

SALIENT
DESIGN FEATURES
|
|
"avro"
Surface Grinding Machines
have a unique bed-type design
in which the bed carrying
the table and the upright
are aligned exactly at right
angles. The saddle is guided
on hardened and ground V-guideways
resting on high precision
steel balls for smooth operation.
|
|
Wheel
head is mounted on a rigidly
constructed vertical column
supported by pre-loaded precision
bearings. Spindle is driven
by means of an endless flat
belt for models TP-5, TP-6,
TP-7, REETA-2412
and REETA-112 and frictionless
'V' drive in case of
REETA-3020, REETA-4020
and REETA- 4030. All
driving pulleys are dynamically
balanced. Vertical feed is
actuated through a mechanical
gear drive incorporated inside
the column.
|
|
Hydraulic
Longitudinal traverse is infinitely
variable ranging from 1.5
to 18 meters per minute. Fine
feed capability is 0.001 mm.
Longitudinal table traverse
is also seated on steel balls
resting in hardened and ground
"V" guide-ways.
|
|
"avro"
grinding machines are fitted
with a Compact Hydraulic power
pack with an exclusively designed
control unit incorporated
within the body of the machine.
Oil reservoir, Uni-built pump
and automatic pressure control
unit with filter etc are accessibly
located for easy maintenance.
|
| LUBRICATION |
|
Automatic
Lubrication System is built-in
feature of each "avro"
Surface Grinding Machine.
The Table, Saddle and Cross
Feed screw have an arrangement
for continuous lubrication.
Lubricant is fed into required
areas under constant pressure.
Over spilling lubricant is
drained into the reservoir.
